On October 30, 2018, the men's group matches of the KELME 2018 AUSF Football Cup were held in Jinjiang of Fujian. Al Musanna College of Technology (ACT) from Oman played against Mongolian National Institute of Physical Education (MNIPE). Finally, ACT won this match with a score of 4:0.
At the beginning of the match, players of both sides showed their vigor and skills, which won cheers and applauses from the spectators and created a lively atmosphere. In the 9th minute, after getting the ball in the middle of the pitch, ACT's No.16 player Abdul Rahmanal Mushaifri turned and shot, and scored a goal before the keeper of MNIPE had any react, changing the score to 1:0.
After scoring the goal, ACT won many tackles and created many chances to attack. In the 42nd minute, ACT's No.3 player Ahmedal Khatri received the pass from the right side, and shot from a long distance, and the ball flew directly into the top right corner of the goal. ACT won another score, changing the score to 2:0.
In the second half, the match went into a stalemate as both sides made substitutions frequently to maintain their stamina and form. MNIPE players tried many times to create chances to equalize the score. However, ACT scored another two goals in the 88th minute and the 94th minute, and finally beat MNIPE by 4:0.
After the match, the leader of the delegation of ACT Qassim Jaffar said: "We made a lot of preparations for this match. The players had been trained for three months and been looking forward to today's match. MNIPE has a strong team. We are honored to play this match with them. We also hope that we can do better in the following matches!"
